From [the website](https://www.nten.org/gather/ntc):

Join us in Portland, OR and virtually from March 23–26, 2027 at the annual gathering of those who use technology to make the world a better place.

The **Nonprofit Technology Conference –** often referred to as the NTC – is NTEN’s annual event for nonprofit professionals, funders, consultants, and technology partners who aim to leverage technology more effectively for social good. Each year, thousands of people gather to learn new skills, exchange ideas, and connect with peers who share their commitment to making change.

At a time when resources are tight and nonprofit staff are stretched thin, the Nonprofit Technology Conference is **a space to build resilience and foster collective growth.** At the NTC, you’ll find practical learning and professional growth opportunities, as well as a supportive, power-packed community. Whether you’ve attended many times before or you’re joining us for the first time, you belong here.

I am going to try to go to this! It’s not far from Seattle and with luck I can find some family or friend who can put me up so I won’t have to pay for a hotel. I’ve attended the Portland NTC before (and a drupalcon!) and it’s a great venue for a conference, and the area is very bikeable.

The organizers just sent out an invitation to propose sessions, and the deadline is around the corner on 2026-09-21T07:00:00Z. 😬 This means I need to prioritize looking into this next week when I am in Berlin.

> The NTC program has always been built by this community. Sessions are proposed by the people doing the work and selected by your peers, which is why the advice tends to be usable rather than theoretical. If you have solved something at your organization, developed a nifty workflow, or made a mistake worth warning other people about, that is a session!
>
> Proposals are open for both the in-person program in Portland, March 23–26, and the virtual program on Tuesday, March 23. We assign the format while building the agenda, and if you cannot travel we will place your session virtually. Being scheduled virtually does not mean attending virtually — you are welcome in Portland either way. [Read more about our new virtual NTC experience here](https://go.nten.org/e/876561/edium-email-utm-campaign-27ntc/3vrvc4/2799659985/h/BZO-qfCEOBvmELVPbZMoxRD_0fj0ozOLRxPXxQSc1DM).
>
> We are accepting proposals in six categories across the in-person and virtual program: equity, fundraising and development, leadership, communications and marketing, operations and IT, and program and service delivery. You can propose a 30-minute session, a 60-minute session, or a 60-minute workshop. You do not need to have your co-speakers lined up yet, so if you have the idea but not the roster, propose anyway.

> **Proposals close on Monday, September 21 at 10 AM ET.** We will let you know whether your session was selected on October 13.
